Microneedling

WHY LORAN LOVES IT

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a powerful treatment that uses a handheld device equipped with tiny needles to create precise micro-injuries in the skin. These controlled “injuries” don’t scar but kickstart the skin’s natural repair process, known as dermal remodeling.

  • Clinically proven to:
    ○ Minimize the appearance of wrinkles, specifically on the forehead, around the mouth and eyes
    ○ Soften the skin’s appearance
    ○ Brighten the skin
    ○ Enhance the skin’s texture
    ○ Deliver collagen therapy for bouncy, healthy, and glowing skin
    ○ Unclog pores for a healthier, clearer appearance

  • Suitable for all skin types AND it is Safe and non-irritating!

WHO IS IT FOR?

Each micro-puncture triggers inflammation, prompting your skin to produce fresh collagen—those essential fibers that keep your skin firm, smooth, and youthful. Since collagen levels naturally decline with age, stimulating new production is key to maintaining a vibrant, resilient complexion.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A handheld device with needles punctures the skin, creating micro-injuries that stimulate the skin to repair itself. This process, called dermal remodeling, increases collagen and elastin production, which can lead to smoother, firmer skin.

For best results, I typically recommend a series of 3 to 5 treatments, either monthly or biweekly, depending on your unique skin goals. With each session, we’re not just boosting collagen but also helping the outer layer of skin (the epidermis) grow thicker and tighter, combating the natural thinning that happens over time with aging and external factors.

BE OPEN-MINDED

Remember, any chemical peels or exfoliating acids can make you purge. Expect purging to happen. Purging is completely normal and encouraged. Sometimes you have to look “worse” before it gets better. If you have underlying breakouts, the treatment is going to work on dissolving and brining up the inflammation through purging. That’s why it is recommended to have a series of 4 treatments every 10 days.
